Cedar Place School students meet with Altice employees to learn about STEM careers and imagine future technologies.
Fifth grade students at Cedar Place School presented their ideas for future innovations during an event that promoted the development of STEM skills and highlighted that broadband accessibility and access to information are essential to education. Prior to the event, Altice employees visited the students to discuss how STEM related to their careers and mentored them as they imagined and designed future technologies. Principal Magdaline Delany, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, Yonkers Councilman Michael Sabatino, Yonkers Commissioner of Technology Bob Cacace and fifth grade teacher Christine Wuestenhoefer also participated in the event.
