For the third year, the town of Greenwood Lake held a community event that brought residents and local business together to celebrate the start of the holiday season.  People from near and far enjoyed Christmas shopping, delicious foods and the annual tree lighting ceremony.

Veteran's Appreciation Day, Hyde Park

Every year the Dutchess County Division of Veterans' Services hosts a day of appreciation honoring and showing support for its local veterans.  The veterans are able to learn about organizations offering assistance in all aspects of their lives and this year two local vets were pinned with medals earned decades ago!
