Youth Enrichment Services Economy Internet Event
Altice, Town of Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter and Assemblyman Andy Raia visited with students participating in Youth Enrichment Services’ after school program to speak about broadband adoption and accessibility and the importance of technology for education success. YES CEO, Mary Ann Pfeiffer, and Vice Chairman of the Board, Angel Rivera, also participated and are partnering with Altice to help raise awareness of Economy Internet, an affordable option for broadband in the home for households that qualify for the National School Lunch Program. Altice is also providing free Internet at the center intended to give students access while they visit.
