Long Beach Martin Luther King Center’s Computer Lab Grand Opening

Altice, Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas and NY State Senator Todd Kaminsky celebrated the official grand opening of the newly upgraded Long Beach Martin Luther King Center’s computer lab. The Nassau County District Attorney’s office donated 18 iMac and Mac Mini computers to the MLK center as part of its civil forfeiture reinvestment program and Altice is providing free Optimum broadband connectivity intended to give community members access to the Internet when they visit. The Long Beach MLK center is also partnering with Altice to raise awareness of Economy Internet, an affordable option for broadband in the home for households that qualify for the National School Lunch Program or senior citizens that receive Supplemental Security Income.
