Altice USA Partners with the City of Grambling and Grambling State University for Juneteenth Heritage Festival

Altice USA was honored to serve as the title sponsor of this year’s Juneteenth Heritage Festival held in Grambling, LA. The festival, which commemorates the 1865 abolition of the institution of slavery in the United States, is a day when all Americans can gather to celebrate African American history, culture and achievements. In response to the company’s support, State Representative Patrick Jefferson said, “Suddenlink has stepped out and stepped up and we are so appreciative for you for participating and being the title sponsor because this is a very, very special event.” As a business committed to serving the Grambling community with its Suddenlink-branded products and services, Altice USA was proud to carry on the tradition of being a part of this important, historic event. Altice’s Robbie Lee, Ruthie Evans, Xavier Bonyfield and Randall Wallace joined Mayor Edward Jones at many of the festival events, including at the Juneteenth Opening Ceremony and Luncheon, to kick off the week of activities, and at the Festival’s Health Fair, where they spoke to festivalgoers about the meaning of this significant holiday.
