Computer Distribution at Scotland Neck Elementary School
Altice USA in partnership with the Kramden Institute donated 50 computers to students at Scotland Neck Primary School in Scotland Neck, NC. Altice employees and Amy Huffman, Research and Policy Specialist at North Carolina’s Department of Information Technology Broadband Infrastructure Office, helped distribute computers and train students on how to use the computer and access the Internet. This effort is part of Altice’s commitment to encourage Internet adoption in underprivileged areas and provide Advantage Internet, a low-cost option for Suddenlink broadband in the home for families that participate in the National School Lunch Program.
