Altice Connects and Suddenlink joined The History Channel to honor our veterans at Lubbock-Cooper High School in Lubbock, TX. The Take a Veteran to School Day event featured the participation of area veterans, including WWII vet Howard Mercer (fought at Okinawa) and WWII vet Phil Crenshaw (chaplain in the war), who wore his original uniform. Suddenlink representatives were joined by Dustin Burrows, State Representative House District 83 who also spoke at the student assembly, and the Lubbock Cooper Superintendent Keith Bryant, for this meaningful event in recognition of Veterans Day.
