North Salem High School Creates a "How-To" Festival to Benefit the North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps

As part of their participation in Optimum Community’s Charity Champions program, North Salem High School’s Video Broadcasting Club held a “How-To” Festival with all proceeds going to the North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps. At the start of the festival, Optimum Community presented the Volunteer Ambulance Corps. with a $1,000 check on behalf of the students. Special guest Town Supervisor Warren Lucas was on hand to help kick off the festival.

During the festival, students taught hands-on classes to community members of all ages about how to do something about which they are passionate. Sessions will be in half hour segments. General topics included athletics, technology, cuisine, the arts, and more.
