Rebuilding Together in Babylon

Optimum Community joined Scripps Networks and non-profit organization Rebuilding Together, at a “rebuilding” project in Babylon, New York. 14 cablevision employees joined the volunteer efforts to stain and paint the residence of John and Cathy Fallon who have been displaced since Superstorm Sandy struck 2 years ago. NY State Senator Phil Boyle, Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Babylon Village Mayor Ralph Scordino and SC Legislator Kevin McCaffrey participated in a brief opening program which highlighted the efforts of the organizations present, including the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and the American Red Cross.
