Knicks Basketball Clinic

Bronx Students Participate in Knicks Basketball Clinic

Optimum Community partnered with the NY Knicks to bring a basketball clinic to students from Baychester Academy and MS 144 in the Bronx. 75 students participated in an instructional clinic with members of the NY Knicks Fan Development staff along with NY Knick legend John Starks. Special guest and MS 144 Alumni NYS Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie also attended the event. Optimum Community worked with student reporters to interview both John Starks and Assembly Speaker Heastie for a Neighborhood Journal segment.
