Somos El Futuro Spring Conference

Somos El Futuro is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the needs of New York State's Hispanic population. At the 2018 conference in the state capital in Albany, legislators, entrepreneurs, scholars and more met with community members to discuss key issues that affect the communities in which they live and work.

Annual A Shared Dream MLK Concert

For the 14th consecutive year New York State Senator Kevin Parker in partnership with A Shared Dream Foundation hosted a tribute concert honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event brought together community memebers for a night of entertainment and appreciation.

Honoring Joseph A. McNeil

The Village of Hempstead renamed a local street and a grammar school after a pioneer of civil rights and retired Major General of the United States Airforce, Joseph A. McNeil.

FIRST Robotics Announcement

It's the start of another exciting season of robots on Long Island and around the world, as the FIRST Robotics competition kick-off was held at Stony Brook University. The School Business Partnership of Long Island and Altice USA are sponsors of this year's event and students along with their coaches got a chance to learn what this year's competition has in store for them.

Innovation Roadshow

Altice USA held a two-day Innovation Roadshow on November 15 and 16 at its Bethpage, New York office that included a 24-hour Hackathon with university students, a high school virtual reality event and an employee technology tradeshow.
